A very demure guide to resting😴
brat summer is ending and it’s time for us to be demure about our mental health. As your trusted friend, I’m here with a guide to help you get enough rest for the coming week.
Start with a very considerate bath🛀
After such a long week, you know what would be a good idea? to soak yourself in warm water. Warm water helps relaxes tension from your muscles. So, as the week comes to an end reward yourself with a warm bath. Feel the warmth and let it relax your body.
Next you need a very gentle nap🛌
Did you know that women require 8-12 hours of sleep per day? Yeah we do, so reward yourself this weekend for the exhaustion all week with a relaxing sleep. Don’t think about anything and let your mind and body relax in a deep sleep.
Be mindful and considerate🧘♀️
Because, this weekend we’re prioritizing resting, indulge yourself in things that leaves you feeling refreshed rather than stressed. Think taking a break to try a new hobby that would boost your mood, try out a new music playlist, or check out a new film or hangout with your friend(s). The goal is to be mindful in putting your mental health first by letting your brain take a break and get some fresh air.
Remember, you come first😉
To wrap up, resting is an intentional activity. You have to put it at the top of your todo list, add it to your notion reminders even. Plus imagine how much your productivity would increase if you gave your brain a second to get a shot of serotonin from things that make you feel good or happy?
